The 2009 IAAF World Championships will be held in the Berlin, Germany at the same Olympic Stadium that hosted Team USA in 1936 and the historical feats of Jesse Owens.  Competing in Nazi Germany, the legendary Jesse Owens captivated the world by winning four gold medals; and in the process, breaking the world records in each event.  In honor of USA Track & Field legend Jesse Owens' athletic exploits, the 2009 US team will proudly don the initials "JO" on their uniforms to commemorate one of the most remarkable acts of courage in Olympic history.
