Miltiadis Tentoglou, representing Greece, finished second in the men's long jump final with a fifth-round performance of 27-3.75 (8.32m) at the World Athletics Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Tentoglou, the reigning Olympic gold medalist, led entering the final round, before China's Jianan Wang won on his final attempt with a 27-5.25 (8.36m) effort.
