Ellerton takes lessons from worldsBy BRUCE HEIDMAN, THE SUDBURY STARPosted 2 hours agoHis first world championship was a learning experience for Sudbury's Andrew Ellerton. Ellerton finished fifth in his heat and didn't advance to the semifinals in the 800 metres as expected last weekend at the IAAF World Championships in Daegu, South Korea. He posted a time of 1:47.47, well above 1:45.04 he posted at the Harry Jerome International Track Classic in Vancouver, where he qualified for the worlds in late June. "I was feeling pretty good and nerves weren't a problem," Ellerton said from Daegu early Tuesday morning. "I guess with about 120 metres to go I thought I could roll on some guys ahead of me and they got away from me.
