Dix vows to end Jamaican supremacy

DAEGU — United States sprinter Walter Dix will try to stand in the way of Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, to bring glory to his country at the World Athletics Championships.
The double Olympics bronze medalist will compete in three events starting with the 100 meters followed by the 200 meters and the 4x100-meter relay, in which Bolt, the fastest man on earth, will also compete.
The 25-year-old was confident when interviewed Tuesday at the Sub Media Center in the Athletes’ Village in Ulha-dong, Daegu.
