Ex-Hokie Queen Harrison eyeing next big hurdle: World championships
This will be the first time Queen Harrison has represented the U.S. since the 2008 Summer Olympics, when she competed in the 400 hurdles as a rising junior at Tech.

BLACKSBURG — Queen Harrison will compete this weekend in the biggest track and field meet of the year.
She also hopes to compete in the biggest meet of next year — the Olympics.
The former Virginia Tech star will represent the United States in the 400-meter hurdles at the world outdoor championships, which will be held Friday through Sept. 4 in Daegu, South Korea.
