It took just 49 seconds for Sanya Richards-Ross to show the track world that she was back two weeks ago.

 

Richards-Ross had struggled for much of the start of the 2011 season, trying to recover from a quad injury and sprained ankle that had ended her 2010 campaign early.

"The hardest part when you come back from injury is staying optimistic and positive especially when you know what your best is and you just keep falling short of that," Richards-Ross said.
