Unconfirmed reports coming out of the Europe are that Antiguan and Barbudian sprinter Daniel Bailey has tested positive for a banned substance.

Bailey finished fourth in the 100 metres finals at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Berlin, Germany on Sunday.

Reports circulated on Monday that an athlete who competed in the men's 100 metres failed a drug test.

A newspaper in Switzerland named Bailey as the athlete.

If it is in fact true, it is still unsure if the test was done at the 12th World Championship in Athletics in Berlin, Germany or before.

RJR Sports spoke to Bailey Tuesday night he said he was not aware of any positive test result.

Bailey is a training partner of world record holder Usain Bolt.

Marvin Anderson and Yohan Blake who also of Bolt's Racers Track Club training partners last month tested positive for a banned substance but have since been cleared of the charges.
