Sha'Carri Richardson of the United States stunned both of Jamaica's Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the final of the women's 100-meter to claim her first global title in a personal best effort and championship meet record time of 10.65 at the World Athletics Outdoor Championships at National Athletics Centre in Budapest, Hungary. Jackson finished second in a time of 10.72 while Fraser-Pryce was third in 10.77.
