NOTE ON THE NEWS - RADCLIFFE EXPLAINS MARATHON PLANS

Paula Radcliffe did a conference call this morning from New York where she will run the 4th annual NYC Half-Marathon on Sunday.  The marathon world record holder explained to reporters her decision to run in New York just one week before potentially running in Berlin (she flies from New York to Berlin on Sunday night).

"I'll be the first to admit that this is an unorthodox way to prepare for a World Championship," Radcliffe said.
